Abstract

The synthesis of nanoparticles using green technologies has received a lot of attention in recent years. The study seeks to synthesise copper oxide nanoparticles at room temperature using Catharanthus Roseus leaf extract. This process is 100% green, with no hazardous or harmful solvents. Copper sulphate dehydrate (CuSO4.5H2O) and Catharanthus Roseus leaf extract were combined to create copper oxide micro particles. By using XRD, FT-IR, and UV-vis spectroscopy, the bio-synthesized copper oxide nano-particles were examined and evaluated.
