Candida albicans is a normal component of the commensal microbial flora of different areas of the human body, the vagina of which is the most important fungal pathogen in humans. The objective of our study is to evaluate the impact of Candida albicans on sperm quality. This is a prospective study carried out between the year 2012 and 2015 concerns 46 patients aged from 20 to 55 years. Direct examination is carried out between the slide and the slide, the culture is carried out on a tube of Sabouraud medium supplemented with chloramphenicol and actidione. The identification of Candida albicans involves revealing at least one of the two characteristics: the formation of chlamydospores, and filamentation in serum (blastesis) at 37°C. The specific identification of this yeast also requires the study of its Ability to assimilate various sugars including Auxacolor, and also Fungitest has for the purpose of determining the sensitivity of yeasts to antifungals. Our results showed a predominance of asthenospermia (30.43 %%), a teratospermia rate of 34.78%, 73.91% sperm agglutination and 86.96% of the patients present leucocytospermia, whereas that secondary sterility accounts for 64.29% of cases. We have noticed in our research that this yeast affects the mobility morphology and agglutination of spermatozoa.
