Abstract

Orofacial pain is very complex and may be the result of disturbances in the central or peripheral nervous system, musculoskeletal system, dentition or a combination of the above. As dental surgeons we face the challenging task of diagnosing and treating orofacial pain which if misdiagnosed and managed improperly leads to chronic suffering. We present to you a rare case of odontalgia mimicking trigeminal neuralgia.
