Abstract

In this work, two ectomycorrhizal species of the genus Cortinarius were studied for the first time in Morocco. The morphological and microscopic characters of Cortinarius saturninus and Cortinarius leucopus have been described and illustrated. The two new species collected belong to the genus Cortinarius, subgenus Telamonia and to two different sections, of which Cortinarius saturninus is included in the bicolor section while C. leucopus is in the Obtusi section.
